Crab & Corn Soup


Fresh or Frozen crab meat – 1 cup
Water – 2 cups
Cream styled corn – 1 can drained
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Cornstarch – 2 tsp dissolved in 2tbsp water
Pepper – a pinch
Egg – 1 beaten


Blanch the crab flesh in a boiling water for a minute. remove and set aside.

Bring the two cup water to boil in a heavy bottomed pan.

Add crab and corn and let it simmer for few minutes. Season with the salt and pepper.

Stir in the cornstarch and continue stirring until the soup is thickened. now stir in the egg till they form into fine threads.
