Crispy crab wantons


Crabmeat – ½ lb fresh or canned
Thai red chili – 2 chopped
Scallion – 1 chopped
Soy sauce – 1tsp
Corn starch – 1 tbsp
Lime juice – ½ tsp
Wonton skins – 30
Oil for frying


In a bowl, mix the crabmeat, scallion, cornstarch, chile, soy sauce and lime juice.

Spread the wonton skin add a spoon of the filling in the center. Dampen the edge of the wonton skin with water.Fold them in half to form triangles. Fold the 2 pointed ends in toward the center,moisten with water to secure, then pinch together to seal.

Heat the oil in a deep dish. Add the wontons in batches. Fry until golden brown and crisp.

Serve hot with Sweet chili sauce.
