Lemon Tomato Rasam


Cumin seed –  1 tsp
Mustard seed – 1 tsp
Dried red chillies – 2
Curry leaves – 5
Garlic – 2 cloves
Tomato juice – 1 cup
Pepper – 1 tsp ground
water – 1 cup
Lemon – 2
Salt to taste
Cilantro/ Coriander leaves to garnish
Oil – 1tsp


Heat oil in a large plan and add all the spices and garlic. Stir until the garlic is golden brown.

Add the tomato juice, lemon juice, water and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Garnish with cilantro leaves
