Fried rice with Chicken & Shrimp


Egg – 1 beaten
Shrimp – ½lb shelled & deveined
Chicken – ½lb cooked & finely chopped
Chili bean sauce – 1tsp
Scallions – 2tbsp finely chopped
Oil – 2 tsp
Cooked white rice – 3 cups
Salt to taste


Heat 1 tsp oil in a wok, add egg and cook until scrambled. Remove and keep aside.

Add the remaining oil, stir fry the shrimp for 3 minutes.

now add the chicken, rice, chili bean sauce and stir fry it for two minutes.

Stir in the egg and scallions. Serve hot.

Instead of chicken, we can add Cha siu (roast pork)
